Introduction
"Future-The Moving Beauty", the world's most prestigious luxury train was transformed from the Chu-kuang Express. In 2020, the "Future" received the top honor in Japan - the Good Design Award. "Future - The Moving Kitchen" won the iF Gold Medal and the Service Experience Design Award at the 2023 iF Design Awards in Germany, which further introduced the culture and connotation of Taiwan's aesthetically pleasing sightseeing trains to the world stage.
The interior and exterior of the train were blended into a natural, local, and rustic atmosphere.
The titanium license plate reflects the true beauty of Taiwan in a mirror image.
The smiley curve engraved on the plate echoes the V-shaped pattern of the Chu-kuang Express, which is retained on the front of the train, symbolizing the history of the Chu-kuang Express.
The ten-layer circular structure implies ten perfections.
Features
The curtain design is based on the work of Yuma Taru, an Atayal dyeing and weaving artist, who used geometric shapes to show the mountain of Taiwan. Gray and blue seats represent rock (marble) and ocean icons, just like the scenery of Taiwan.
Future offers a five-sense experience, similar to the business/first class premium service, allowing travelers to deeply experience the unique beauty of Taiwan.
Being the first mobile gourmet dining car in Taiwan,
the chef of The Moving Kitchen has incorporated local Taiwanese elements into the cuisine to provide travelers with the best dining experience.
